Product Marketing Manager

Algolia is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive developers' product and feature adoption from onboarding to paying customers. This role will own from project management to alignment and execution across business functions – building feedback loops, understanding our competitive landscape, and being the voice of our customers internally and the voice of the product externally.
You are comfortable with using data and in-depth research to define personas, value proposition and messaging frameworks that translate into bottom-line outcomes. You are nimble and driven to adapt rapidly through learning. You have a passion for product, innovation and go-to-market motions that drive results. 


  • Own our market sizing and define and evolve ICP definitions. Collaborate with Biz Ops to identify opportunities in the market to grow our businesses across all use cases (plays)
  • Develop personas for our ICP, including our messaging framework for each that will serve as a guide for all comms (ad to in product)
  • Lead product & solution messaging & positioning, including competitive differentiation 
  • Collaborate with corporate comms on our value proposition and USPs across all products and personas, Incorporate VP in our self-serve journeys across all channels
  • Work closely with growth marketing, demand gen, product and other teams to define and build seamless UX, across all digital journeys
  • Collaborate with NUX to build seamless onboarding, activation and expansion experiences within the product, leveraging technical content and the support of other channels
  • Lead scrums for key projects, driving alignment and collaboration across teams
  • Help build trust within the developer community by shortening product time-to-value for new users while increasing MAU’s
  • Help build and manage a team of top talent.


  • 5+ years of direct experience building and managing product marketing programs in a B2B software company
  • Experience implementing a product marketing framework and driving successful product acquisition across the user  life-cycle
  • Experience in technology for developers, API tool is a plus  
  • Demonstrated success in highly collaborative partnerships with other marketing and cross-functional leaders both inside and outside the company to achieve goals
  • Strong creativity and problem-solving skills
