Senior Product Marketing Manager

MarketingAtlanta | New York | San Francisco | Remote
Algolia is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to help define product positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy and competitive positioning for Algolia products across market segments and GTM channels. 
As Senior PMM you’ll be responsible for user & industry research, managing product launches and developing go-to-market plays and campaigns.  You will be responsible for market and competitive data collection and analysis, and provide strategic and tactical guidance for each team across the business. This person will work closely with sales, marketing, product, and executive teams to identify relevant strategies and campaigns to help the company win in a competitive market. You will create messaging and content to explain highly technical features & concepts to a breadth of personas with various technical aptitude levels, You will be data-driven and analytical in developing messaging and positioning, go-to-market plans and in helping the team prioritize the right segments and use cases.
You will work collaboratively with sales, product management, developer advocacy & engineering. 
As a senior member of the Product Marketing team, you will also be responsible for sharing best practices that you have learned during your career, mentoring and developing team members, and proposing and leading new initiatives.

  • Personas: Have a deep understanding of our target customers, developing Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and establish personas that guide our messaging and marketing activities
  • Messaging: Craft messaging for the developer and enterprise segments that differentiates us from the competition
  • Go-to-market: Plan and oversee the launch of new product releases, including messaging and product collateral
  • Competitive Analysis: Perform competitive and market research and keep the company up-to-date on trends and analyses to help us win more customers
  • Sales enablement: Develop sales decks, one pagers, battlecards, white papers, and other content/tools that enable the sales team to articulate our product story and unique selling proposition effectively
  • Educate sales on the latest messages and resources
  • Industry events and webcasts: Attend trade shows and webcasts to represent our company and showcase our product


  • 5+ years of technical product marketing, product management or technical sales enablement experience
  • Experience with developer-focused products and platforms -  SaaS, APIs & developer languages
  • Experience with developer audiences and the enterprise segment
  • Previous partnership with sales teams and go-to-market teams
  • Background working in fast-paced environments and prioritizing among competing opportunities based on qualitative and quantitative data
  • Ability to summarize and articulate the rationale behind your decisions to the larger organization
  • Willingness to be a champion by influencing cross-functional teams and get them invested in your projects
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Excellent project management skills
