# Dynamic scaling infrastructure

Algolia's dynamically scaling infrastructure provides a scalable backend for your search and indexing operations.

If you're on Algolia's **Elevate** plan
(see [Pricing](https://www.algolia.com/pricing/)),
your infrastructure is hosted on dynamic scaling infrastructure.
For services with infrastructure requirements,
such as [AWS Marketplace](/doc/guides/billing/marketplaces/amazon-web-services),
Algolia hosts your <Application /> on the designated platform.
Otherwise, Algolia selects the optimal infrastructure for your application,
and may migrate your application to dynamic scaling infrastructure if necessary.

## Scalability

The dynamic scaling infrastructure automatically scales as demand grows,
allowing indexing and search backends to scale independently.
With the [classic infrastructure](/doc/guides/scaling/infrastructure/classic/servers-clusters),
you can only scale your infrastructure by contacting Algolia's customer support team.
The dynamic scaling infrastructure automates this step, based on traffic.

## Access to new features

New features are available **only** on dynamic scaling infrastructure,
such as, [NeuralSearch](/doc/guides/ai-relevance/neuralsearch/get-started).

## Limitations

Not all features from the classic infrastructure are available in the dynamic scaling infrastructure.
Examples of unavailable features include (but aren't limited to):
