# Search

> Design and build as-you-type ecommerce search experiences.

To build great ecommerce search experiences, you need to consider at least three parts:

* A search-as-you-type **autocomplete menu** with query suggestions for popular and recent searches, matching products, and editorial content
* A **product listing page** with rich filtering and navigation options to refine the search results
* A **"no results" experience** that engages users even if no search results match their search

To build these parts of the search experience, use these Algolia features and libraries:

* [UI design kit](/doc/guides/building-search-ui/resources/ui-kit/js)
* [Query Suggestions](/doc/guides/building-search-ui/ui-and-ux-patterns/query-suggestions/js)
* [Autocomplete UI library](/doc/ui-libraries/autocomplete/introduction/what-is-autocomplete)
* [InstantSearch UI library](/doc/api-reference/widgets/js)
* [Rules](/doc/guides/managing-results/rules/rules-overview)
* [Personalization](/doc/guides/personalization/classic-personalization/what-is-personalization)
* [Dynamic Re-ranking](/doc/guides/algolia-ai/re-ranking)
* [Voice search](/doc/guides/solutions/ecommerce/voice-search)
