# Localization

> The Algolia integration for Zendesk supports help centers in many languages.

The Algolia integration for Zendesk supports help centers with multiple languages.
Users see the results in the language they select.

## Supported languages

The Algolia integration supports these languages *(locales)*:

* **ar**: العربية / Arabic

## Update translated strings

If you want to update some translations,
edit the `translation` object in the [`algoliasearchZendeskHC`](/doc/integration/zendesk/theming) function.

For example:

## Translatable strings

The following code lists all available translatable strings with the default values for the `en-US` locale:

## Localized tags

You can prefix your tags with a locale, separated by a colon.
For example, if the tags of an article are:

```

The indices for each locale only contain the tags matching their locale:

| Locales                                  | Tags                                |
| ---------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| All `fr` locales                         | `{ "label_names": ["Incroyable"] }` |
| `en-gb`                                  | `{ label_names: ["Good"] }`         |
| Other `en` locales, for example, `en-us` | `{ "label_names": ["Awesome"] }`    |
| All other locales                        | `{ label_names: ["Wow"] }`          |
