Configure commercetools sources for Algolia

A source is a combination of:

• An Algolia index name (must be unique)
• A commercetools store (one store per source)
• A set of commercetools product data languages

You already set up a source during installation. You can edit it and add or delete others.

Select a commercetools integration

To select an integration for adding, editing, or deleting sources, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to the Algolia integrations page.

2. Select the commercetools integration you want to edit and click Manage.

   

Now, you can add, edit, and delete sources.

Edit a source

1. Select the commercetools integration you want to edit.

2. Select the icon and click Edit.

   

3. You can change the index name, choose a different commercetools store, and add or remove product data languages:

   

4. When you’re done, click Update Integration.

Add a new source

1. Select the commercetools integration to which you want to add an new source.
2. Click New Source at the top right.

3. Enter an index name, select a commercetools store, and select the product data languages.

   

4. When you’re done, click Finalize Integration.

Delete a source

1. Select the commercetools integration from which you want to delete a source.

2. Select the icon and click Delete Source.

   

3. Confirm your choice by clicking Yes, Delete to remove the source.

   Removing the source doesn’t delete the Algolia index. If you want to delete your Algolia index, see Delete indices.

Trigger a full reindex

After installing a commercetools source, you need to trigger a full reindex at least once to retrieve your products from commercetools. You should also reindex if you change, add, or delete a source.

To trigger a full reindex:

1. Select the commercetools integration where you want to trigger a reindex.

2. Select the icon and click Reindex.
