About the integration:
Algolia Search and Sync is a Webflow Marketplace app, approved by Webflow, that brings Algolia's search and discovery to any Webflow site. It links a site's CMS Collections to the customer's own Algolia application and keeps every index in sync, so visitors get fast, typo-tolerant, relevance-ranked results as they type.
Setup happens inside Webflow. Teams pick a CMS Collection, map its fields to an Algolia index field by field, and run the first sync. After that the index updates on its own: publishing in Webflow triggers a re-sync through webhooks, and a scheduled background sync keeps records current between publishes. A dashboard in the Designer shows each synced collection, how many records are indexed, and sync health, with full logs for every run.
The search front end is built in the Webflow Designer, through a Designer Extension. Teams can drop complete experiences onto the canvas (standard search, autocomplete, multi-source/federated search, browse/category pages and detail pages) or attach Algolia behaviour to elements they have already designed using simple attributes. Refinement lists, range and hierarchical filters, toggles, sorting, Query Suggestions, pagination, shareable URLs, localized content and Algolia Recommend units are all available, with optional Algolia Insights behind cookie consent. Everything stays fully styleable in Webflow.
Customers bring their own Algolia account, so they keep full ownership of their indices, records and API keys.
