Bernadette Nixon, Algolia CEO, secures Gold Stevie® Award for Best Female Entrepreneur
San Francisco – November 13, 2025 – Algolia, the AI retrieval platform trusted by more than 18,000 businesses and millions of developers worldwide, today announced its Chief Executive Officer, Bernadette Nixon, has been named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Best Female Entrepreneur category in the 22nd annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run—worldwide. The Stevie Award has been hailed as the world’s premier business award.
This year, Bernadette led the charge in advancing Algolia’s evolution toward an agentic future — helping bring to market the Intelligent Fashion Solution, MCP Server, Intelligent Grocery Solution, as well as the public preview of Agent Studio. These innovations mark the next phase of AI-driven, agentic experiences, where search doesn’t just respond but actively assists, guides, and personalizes every interaction. By empowering enterprises to deliver more intuitive, adaptive, and context-aware experiences, these solutions are driving measurable growth in engagement, conversion, and revenue, while also building deeper, lasting user loyalty.
John Stewart, Head of Corporate Communications, Algolia, noted, “Bernadette Nixon’s recognition for a second consecutive year is a testament not only to her leadership, but to Algolia’s continued momentum at the forefront of AI innovation. As the industry evolves toward an agentic future, her vision has guided our teams to deliver technologies that make search and discovery more intelligent, autonomous, and impactful for our customers. This award underscores the culture of innovation and excellence she inspires across Algolia.”
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners last night during a gala event attended by nominees and their guests at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The event was broadcast via Vimeo.
Maggie Miller, president of the Stevie Awards, said, “In its 22nd year, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business received its most varied and diverse body of nominations ever, and that’s reflected in the caliber of this year’s winning nominations. We are gratified by how meaningful it is to women to win a Stevie Award, and how impactful it can be on the futures of their careers and their organizations. We congratulate all of this year’s Grand, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners for their achievements.”
