San Francisco – August 16, 2022 – Algolia, the leading API Platform for Search & Discovery, today announced that it has been named on Inc. Magazine’s annual Inc. 5000 list. As the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America, the Inc. 5000 list represents a one-of-a-kind look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent businesses. This accolade is a testament to Algolia’s recent product enhancements, rapidly expanding customer base and partner ecosystem and the accelerated adoption of the company’s search and discovery platform.

“We are honored to be recognized by Inc. as one of the fastest-growing companies in America,” said Bernadette Nixon, chief executive officer of Algolia. “At Algolia, it’s our mission to build cutting-edge technologies that empower every company to create incredible search and discovery experiences. This distinction from Inc. further validates our API-First platform and our commitment to the 12,500+ enterprises and individual developers that we support.”

Nixon added, “With shifting consumer behaviors creating an increasingly unusual retail landscape, it’s more critical than ever that retailers invest in modern digital commerce technologies to bolster their website conversion rates and gain an edge on the competition. For this reason, in 2023, I think even more companies will turn to the Algolia platform to deliver improved search and discovery experiences for their customers, further propelling our growth.”

“The accomplishment of building one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., in light of recent economic roadblocks, cannot be overstated,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that have established themselves through innovation, hard work,  and rising to the challenges of today.”

The companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 have not only been successful, but have also demonstrated resilience amid supply chain woes, labor shortages, and the ongoing impact of Covid-19. Among the top 500, the average median three-year revenue growth rate soared to 2,144 percent. Together, those companies added more than 68,394 jobs over the past three years.
