Algolia Partner Program Policies

Effective as of: June 22 2025

These Algolia Partner Program Policies (“Policies”) are current as of the version date set forth above and will remain in effect until or unless they are superseded at this same (or redirected) URL by a version with a later version date. These Policies are subject to and made part of the Algolia Partner Program Agreement (“APPA”), which an entity must accept in order to participate as a Partner in the Algolia Partner Program.  Capitalized terms not defined in these Policies have the meaning given to them in the APPA.  In accordance with the APPA, Algolia may update or modify these Policies from time to time and in its sole discretion, with or without notice, except that Algolia will provide 30 day prior written notice of any material updates to these Policies, and such material updates will become effective 30 days from the date of such notice.

Overview

The Partner Program is designed for organizations that develop, integrate, and support solutions that enhance customer engagement through Algolia search and AI.  This includes partners who provide consultative services, implementation expertise, pre-built integrations and code, support and managed services. Algolia offers our Partners tools and resources enabling them to develop expertise around specific business functions, product areas, and industries so they can scale their business, drive innovation, and deliver exceptional customer experiences using Algolia.

An organization may apply to join the Partner Program through the ‘Become a Partner’ page here. Algolia will review and assess the submission, and in its sole discretion, may contact the organization to discuss partnership and review the partner tier levels (“Tier”), as discussed below.  Algolia reserves the right to accept or deny any application to the Partner Program.

Partner Program Benefits

The Partner Program benefits (“Program Benefits”) to which a Partner is entitled, based on Tier (as discussed below), are set forth here. In addition, from time to time and in its sole discretion, Algolia may make additional benefits available to Partners in order to further support, develop and/or enhance the Partner Program.

Partner Program Tiers

Algolia provides four Partner Program tiers (each a “Tier”), identified below:

  • Strategic,
  • Premier,
  • Community, and
  • Registered.

Find more information on Algolia’s Partner Program Tiers can be found here (as such URL may be updated from time to time).  Algolia determines the qualifications for each tier in its sole discretion.  Algolia may update or modify the Partner Program Tiers from time to time and in its sole discretion, in accordance with the Agreement.

Partner Program Requirements

Algolia’s tiering requirements vary across partner types, revenue impact, competency and technical expertise as provided here

Initial Tiering, Evaluation & Affiliate Consolidation

  • Initial Tier Qualifications.  Upon acceptance to  the Partner Program, Algolia will assign Partner  to a Tier based on Partner’s satisfaction of applicable Tier requirements, as described more fully here. If a Partner fails to meet the applicable certification requirements  of their assigned Tier within ninety (90) days of APPA execution, Partner will be removed from the Partner Program. Any exception to the Partner Program requirements will be subject to approval and management by Algolia’s  Head of Alliances and is at his/her discretion.
  • Evaluation.  Evaluations will be conducted during the first month following the end of an Algolia fiscal quarter, and any resulting reassignment will be effective as of the first day of the following month, as set forth below. Algolia will provide email notification to a Partner of any change in their Tier assignment, which change will be effective as of the date specified in such notification. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Partners who are promoted to a higher Tier during an Algolia fiscal year (February 1 - January 31) (“Fiscal Year”) will maintain the highest Tier earned during such Fiscal Year for the remainder of the then current Fiscal Year, after which Partners will be reevaluated.
Evaluation Type Algolia Fiscal Quarter Ends Review Conducted New Tier Effective Date
FY Q1 Evaluation April 30 May June 1
FY Q2 Evaluation July 31 August September 1
FY Q3 Evaluation October 31 November December 1
FY Q4 Evaluation January 31 February March 1

A partner’s performance in the preceding Fiscal Year will determine the following  program year calculations.  Therefore, depending on the prior year’s performance, Partners may move up or down a category at the start of the new program year.  Any exception to the Partner Program requirements will be subject to approval and management by Algolia’s  Head of Alliances and is at his/her sole discretion.

  • Affiliate Consolidation.  If an entity would like to consolidate affiliates under a single APPA, please contact Algolia’s Head of Alliance. If Affiliate entities are signatories to the APPA,  the highest Tier associated with any Partner Affiliate will be deemed to apply to all of Partner’s Affiliates for purposes of tiering eligibility. For example, if one Partner is eligible for the Registered Tier and its Affiliate is eligible for the Premier Tier, both Partners will be eligible for the Premier Tier. If a previously unaffiliated Partner becomes an Affiliate of another Partner during the Fiscal Year (e.g., following a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets, or because its Affiliate later joins the Partner Program), the Affiliate will be immediately eligible for the highest Tier associated with any Partner Affiliate. If a Partner becomes an Affiliate of another Partner, it must notify Algolia and a change in Tier will be made upon review and verification.

Algolia offers additional programs that have a particular scope and a particular set of benefits (“Program Types” or “Paths”). These Paths are wholly independent of the Partner Program and Partners must meet the individual criteria for each Program Type.
